Job Description
Our experienced Manufacturing Manager will have extensive manufacturing background in CNC machining, working knowledge and experience on a variety of CNC machines and controls, cutting hard and soft metals, plastics, inspections and overall manufacturing knowledge.
Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
· Organizes workflow by reading and routing correspondence, collecting customer information, and managing assignments.
· Direct and coordinate activities of business or department concerned with production.
· Establish and maintain preventive maintenance program(s) for equipment.
· Establish and maintain quality control standards to ensure product consistency and compliance.
· High level of involvement and problem solving, in managing all aspects of manufacturing expectations.
· Be able to perform multiple tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously while preforming other duties as assigned.
· Prepare staff work schedules and assign specific duties.
· Establish or implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, or procedures.
· Communicate pertinent information well with associates.
· Ability to evaluate machines, materials, and processes and provide guidance in troubleshooting and repairs.
· Identify opportunities for process enhancements and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
· Prepare purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for raw material and services.
· Develop, monitor, and maintain an effective and efficient supplier database.
· Responsible for determining the most suitable suppliers in terms of reliability, product quality and cost efficiency.
· Maintain inventory of raw material, supplies and operatives.
· Oversee building maintenance for consistent cleanliness for our associates.
· Other duties as assigned to ensure a positive customer experience, and fostering customer relationships as their partner in precision.
